reminiscing our almost three and a half years together. 

8th month

the city seemed exceptionally captivating after the heavy downpour earlier. breath of fresh air, and a sense of tranquility that is not quite that common in this city full of traffic jams and construction works.

i have plenty to be thankful for.

many a times, i hope that i am that kind of person that would be quick to warm up. comfortable with new people, surroundings and more courage to venture out. things could have been a lot easier then

最近看着好友踏上生命的另一个里程碑，心中有种莫名的感动。那些无聊却超搞笑的男生，好像忽然间成熟了好多。随着每个人的成长，我们的友谊也好像随着升华。虽然混在一起时还像是长不大的小孩，但我们已懂得照应彼此和他们的伴侣/小孩。虽然不常见，但每一次的相聚我们这群性情中人都好珍惜。

back home for the weekend and there is so much to be thankful for.

things many of is have taken for granted.. security, good public infrastructure from roads to public transport to everything! 

above all I miss the familiarity and a place to call home. 

opportunity cost

another weekend closer to being away from home and everything i'm familiar with.

it's not easy to look forward to that when you know what you have to leave behind.
