i had a great time. talking, hanging out, shopping & brainless movie. now, im just sleepless from too much caffeine.
this much needed break is timely.
and something i noticed about my friends is that, while we have our big bitchy mouths, they have the kindest of hearts. it may be the littlest thing, but it shows genuine care. that makes me very glad to know people like them.

Redbox Project
last night, gan ann shared with us a meaningful project we can participate in and bring some joy to the less fortunate during this CNY. It is called The Redbox Project wherein participants can prepare a shoebox filled with gifts for a kid between 2 - 18 years old.
Please read these simple guidelines to help you pack your shoebox with love and care.
1. Wrap the box nicely! It is, after all, a gift. The wrapping paper does not have to be red.
2. Choose who you are packing for, then print and fill up this label to indicate whether your box is intended for a 2-year-old boy, a 6-year-old girl or so on.
3. Our beneficiaries are both boys and girls ranging from 2 to 18 years old, so pack gifts that will be pleasant and useful to your intended recipient. The gifts in each box should have a total value of $15 to $20.
4. Feel free to get together with a few friends to fill a box! It does not have to be one box per person. Do indicate, on the label, the number of people who contributed to the box.
5. Items in your box should be new and in perfect condition. Handmade items are acceptable.
6. Don’t seal your box! Wrap the lid and the box separately, and hold it shut with a rubber band if the lid is not secure.
Here are some suggested items that you can put in your box:
* Children: Toys, soft toys, stationery sets (pens, pencils, crayons, colour pencils etc), colouring books, picture books, craft sets
* Teens: Craft sets, storybooks, notebooks, toys (that are more appropriate for older ages), stationery, room décor items

i think most people, like me, would love to do a little something that is within our capacity. and i think this is a good avenue that takes a little effort - but much thought and sincerity.

hey friend,
maybe we are all asking for too much. maybe we all already got it good. i still wish it would be easier for us.
we'd all get better from here. it will all get better.
// stereophonics :: have a nice day

play-work-play
it is difficult, planning for a trip with so many limitations. no time (not enough leave), budget, disadvantageous exchange rate.
i'm quite sure im gonna choose kyoto as the destination for my extension of the trip to tokyo. the plan is to extend only 3 days more. what's the smartest way to do this?
with that said, yes this year's going to exciting because of the travel plans. its going to be a challenging one as well work wise. looking at my 2010 objectives, i have some bitch of a task up ahead. im really hoping i am keep up the game.
