4 a.m at Neuchatel
its been a long day, almost feels like i lived 2 days in 1 sitting.
the trip didnt start out too great - i had a huge quarrel with my father on my way to the airport, then realized my wheels of my lugguage wasnt functioning properly so I had to make a last minute mad purchase for a new lugguage at the airport. instead of being excited about the thought of breathing in swiss air in 12 hours time, i was tired, upset and worried if i really could handle all these.
it was all drizzling and dreary at Zurich, in the 3 hours we spent in Zurich city before we headed off to Neuchatel, we braved the rain (an umbrella cost $40SGD!) and trawled the empty shopping street because it was a Sunday and nobody was in business. (manda, i found H&M though and i heading back there on saturday for sure!)
Neuchatel is pretty though, and i never felt happier to see the sun. The hotel is situated right by Lake Neuchatel and it was really postcard pretty with the yatches, swans, ducks and birds.

xh: yikes! didnt get to tell u cos the past weeks have been super busy and havent been logging on to msn. yea, am i switzerland right now but unlike what i would have wished, i only have 2 days of extension for traveling. i'd been staying put in swiss though, simply too rushed/ex to get out. (i think keep in mind your recommendation on berlin though!)
