we always make fun of alan for being so emo and being perpetually being "me is sad" or "me is sianzz". but it is left unsaid between us that we all know that without alan we will probably have less gatherings and there will be no one to coordinate alumni events. without alan, there is no magic school bus which brings us to the faraway land of geylang, mount faber, east coast, bukit timah just to name a few.

wow, im dedicating a whole post to alan soh... but at least FINALLY, we have non-anal pictures of alan. i guess alcohol do make a difference!

tan xiaoyu has always been known as giraffe. if you know her, you would probably have guessed that the nickname derived from her height. if you were part of krabi kaki, you would have been there to witness a leaf falling off from a tree and landing where else but right smack on giraffe's plate. that story still sets us laughing up till now. thanks for laughing with us and also being the one to be laughed at. Happy birthday tan xiaoyu!

As usual we were too caught up with food to take pictures of our food or full body shot of jan in her dress. I've got a feeling I will be having time-to-time craving for the curry kishimen. I love it from the curry to the kishimen to the nikku (beef) thumbs up! it is such a good thing to have friends who are foodies. will be better without the transfat talk though! haha

right now, I'm thinking about Teochew Muay.

and so I am 22. and age is like this numerical thing that is supposed to make sense to people but well, everyone knows I hate numbers. 22 is no different from 21 or 19. and i feel no different now then when i felt in secondary school. its like the awakening of one's human consciousness starts with adolescence and you are pretty much the same soul that lies in the body that gets older, with metabolism rate going down, getting fat, aching muscles, painful joints.

thank you. for celebrating meaningless numbers by the reasons of a parents' love, and the rest of you, friendship. for being my here and now.
