On the 3rd Day, Stanley Market was our destination. After having dimsum (and eating a
bloody big piece revolting of TER-GUA 猪肝) we were off Central to take the bus up to Stanley Market.
(left: dimsum!, thick digusting ter-gua, disgusted me, exasperated manda, us on the mtr & fi!)
So off we went for a bus ride right, passing by Repulse Bay etc. 浅水湾 & 深水湾 (loosely translated to: Shallow Bay & Deep Bay) Well, i became the object of fi's family fascination at how i can take pictures of everything. i felt like a little girl, armed with my toy, i wasnt the least bit sleepy but sit right beside the window, taking in everything i saw.
roads in hongkong are ever weaving and overlapping across each other. driving there is a skill to be acquired indeed. cool things we saw include this whole row of car dealers. MINI, Maserati, you name it, it's there. I was swoooning. Apparently cars are cheap in Hk, so u don't get to see lasup KIA & Hyundai there but BMWs convertibles. If you thought buying a sports car is dumb in SG, its more dumb to do that in Hk given the traffic jam. So unless you come out in the middle of the night like jay chou and do your drifting..well u get the drift.
Repulse Bay was pretty but we didnt get ourselves charred there under the 35dc temperature . (Or very O.C in Gan Ann's words) and Stanley Market being like a touristy ChinaTown. driving up the winding road was an adventure in itself.

After which, we were off to catch the night scenary @ Tsim Sha Tsui 尖沙咀 Avenue of Stars. It was by the bay long walk way with celebrity leaving their palm prints on the floor. We waited for ages for the Symphony of Lights whereby the commercial buildings across the sea would light up in symphony with the music. Hk's skyline is really beautiful.
Again we were all SO famished, and here's dinner back @ Mongkok. Porridge. quote: "i could eat this forever..."
