(24th May) - Jiaosi, Taichung
like i said, jiao si is a hotspring town. there's nothing much to do except soaking urself (泡汤), and there's nothing much except streets and streets of 汤屋。(see if u can spot the signs)
then off to Taichung 台中 by bus! Fortunately in tw, there's always 黑轮 ('or len' in hokkien = oden in japanese) for travel food. in manda's dad's words, it is just japanese yong tau fu but at least its nice japanese yongtaufu.
another thing about buses is that its DARN COOL. there are 2 common tv screens (think tv mobile) in front of us showing different shows, and on our armrest there is actually a control which allows u to play the audio to which channel you want to watch and the sound comes right out of the headrest of our seats! i rewatched 'day after tomorrow' during that 3hrs odd journey.
