God On The Mountain

Life is easy when you're up on the mountain
And you've got peace of mind like you've never known.
But then things change and you're down in the valley.
Don't lose faith for you're never alone.

For the God on the mountain is still God in the valley.
When things go wrong, He'll make it right.

is still God in the bad times.

You talk of faith when you're up on the mountain.

But it's down in the valley of trials and temptation
That's when faith is really put to the test.

though we may not know when, where or how we are going to get there. or that I hear my Yes and Amen and the Seek and You shall Find and the Ask and you will be Given ringing loudly in my ears. and that things dont happen at the snap of our fingers and we are just taking our tiny baby steps day after day just trying. we will get there. God, i know i will get there. eventually. i know it. maybe God's answer to my prayers is "eventually". maybe you whispered that to me and i didnt catch it. all in good time.
