location: lenin park (hanoi)
fiona said that vietnamese are living our 80s - a period we were in when we were young. when people commute using motorbikes and bicycles. where children went fishing with their dads, kicked the feather thingy instead of going short sighted with PSP. our last day at hanoi was spent at Lenin Park, an amusement park that seemed to be caught in time. it was a weekday, the park was relatively empty and quiet. the metal planes, metal seats, metal horses & trains didn't move but it was still rather enchanting.
