(23 May 2008) - Hua Lien 花莲 / Jiao si 礁溪

石头的家 - the prettiest 民宿 we stayed at

this is 妞妞 the resident dog which i have grown to adore because she's really docile and doesn't bark incessantly. should have seen the way she yelps and spins in excitement when we were playing with fireworks.

we opted for a free & easy afternoon at Hua Lien, so we scooted off on our bikes in search of the sea.

The Pacific Ocean

the couple.
* the rest of the day was spent on the train ride to 礁溪 - the hotspring town. hot spring spas/hotels/public baths everywhere. all i can say is ... that night, we saw many nude obasans.
