today is my mum's birthday. people are eager to bring her out for a treat, 1 of my auntie even sms-ed me to made sure i remembered. cos i do (although i think it nearly slipped my mind since i am basically losing track of dates but just living my life day-to-day) because my mum hinted. so shrewd. my dad called me just so we could pick up a citizen watch for her together. despite all the drinking, coming home late or at unearthly hours, dyfunctionality magnifies such good acts.
but still, as my mum always instill in me. No alcoholics. No ALCOHOLICS. NO alcoholics.
